Mary Anane Awuku is a distinguished and multifaceted entrepreneur, celebrated for her profound impact across the corporate, educational, and philanthropic sectors in Ghana. As the Managing Director of Brain Hill International School, founded in 2018, Mary has been the driving force behind the institution’s transformation, becoming the fastest growing school, with three campuses in Ghana. She provides comprehensive mentorship, supervision, and professional support to teachers, ensuring the delivery of a cutting-edge curriculum that meet global educational standards. Her vision extends beyond the classroom, as she has meticulously crafted a supportive and inclusive environment that nurtures the professional growth of all staff. Mary’s work at Brain Hill is deeply informed by her own extensive academic background and commitment to continuous learning, reflected in her global perspective on educational leadership.

Concurrently, as the Managing Director of FacilityPro Management Services Ltd since 2012, Mary has spearheaded the company’s remarkable growth. Under her guidance, FacilityPro has evolved into a leading industry player, managing a diverse workforce of 700 employees across all 16 regions of Ghana, with additional branches in Togo and Nigeria. She has consistently demonstrated a masterful ability to lead innovation, mitigate risks, and execute the company’s vision and mission with precision. Her leadership has been pivotal in overseeing a wide range of services, from facility management and fumigation to security and landscaping, all while maintaining an unwavering focus on fiscal responsibility and market dominance.

A robust academic foundation underpins Mary’s professional expertise. She holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Ghana, and her commitment to educational excellence is further highlighted by her pursuit of a PhD in Psychology. This is complemented by a suite of prestigious international certifications and executive training from Harvard University, the University of Cambridge, and a U.S.-based Principal Training Centre. This unique blend of practical, hands-on leadership and high-level academic training makes Mary Anane-Awuku a truly exceptional and visionary leader.

Her impact extends beyond her business and academic endeavors, as evidenced by a consistent track record of award recognition. Recent honours include the International School of the Year at the Ghana Business Awards 2025. And the prestigious First Among Equals and Best in Education category at the 40 Under 40 Awards Ghana 2025. Her company was also named the Most Outstanding Facility Management Company in Africa at the Africa Awards Kenya 2023. She has personally been recognized as Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2024 (Young Entrepreneurs Award 2018) and was listed in the 100 Most Influential People Awards 2024 (Business Executive Awards).
